The first cabernet sauvignon released from the Mayford Nicholson vineyard, planted in 2012. Held back for a little more bottle age and it’s been a plus quality-wise. Immediately vibrant and lifted in fragrant floral aromas and the darkest of fruits, plums with a lively spice and herbal, earthy depth. Moves up a notch or three on the palate with signature elegance and balance, capturing a moment of effortless, integrated fruit, oak, tannin and belief that cabernet can shine in the Alpine Valleys. It most definitely can.
